Know before you go: Sage and Valley loops are the reservable portion of White Star. The Forest Service lists a potable-water hand pump, but services and opening dates are seasonal; confirm both before departure.
Know before you go: Ridge Loop has no remote occupancy feed and a site must be physically claimed and occupied the first night. Confirm the campground is open and carry a backup.
